Dear friends,
you are now entering the web sites of National building centre Brno. It´s my pleasure not only to welcome you but also to explain you the history, aims and prospects of our Centre.

CZECH NATIONAL BUILDING CENTRE (NBC) is a brand new institution whose founder is the Association of Building Enterpreneurs of the Czech republic (SPS). The Centre follows the seven-year old tradition of supertemporal and still really unique project in the Czech republic – project of Building Centre EDEN 3000 in the Brno exhibition ground. This centre was opened in April 1998. Running of the Centre of sample pre-fab houses, the Display room of building materials, consulting centre, technical literature bookstore and prospectus service, are the basic activities of NBC and go from the long-term cooperation with Brno Trade fairs and exhibitions Inc. and SPS.

National Building Centre also draws from the experiences gained by active work in International Union of Building Centres (UICB). Building information centres are institutions specialized in gathering, sorting and distributing of information in building, aimed mainly to the general public – small promoters and ivestors. The core of their activity is consulting service, publication activities, prospectus service, administrating of databases, reference libraries and internet servers, holding of permanent or single exhibitions, of educational courses, seminars, conferences and congresses. National Building centre also assumes close cooperation with Educational Institute of SPS in the future. This Institution prepares new system of training of employees in building, including requalifications and technical courses. The courses for Moravian firms should be held right in Brno.
